Harry’s Baked Israel Food Tours wants this website and our tours to be usable by everyone, including people with disabilities. This statement is published under Israel’s Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities Law, 1998, and the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities (Service Accessibility Adjustments) Regulations, 2013.

Accessibility level

This site is built to meet Israeli Standard 5568, which is based on the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0 at level AA. It was last tested on September 28, 2026, with an automated checker and by hand (keyboard navigation, forms and heading structure). It is built to work with current versions of Chrome, Safari, Firefox and Edge, on desktop and mobile.

What we’ve done

• Text, link and button colors meet AA contrast.
• Links inside text are underlined.
• The whole site works with a keyboard, with a clear outline showing where you are.
• A “Skip to content” link at the top of every page.
• Alt text on images that carry information.
• Readable labels on every form field.
• A pause button on the homepage background video.

What isn’t fully accessible yet

• The calendar in the booking form’s date fields can’t be navigated with arrow keys. You can type the date straight into the field (YYYY-MM-DD), or just email or WhatsApp me.
• Third-party content: TripAdvisor reviews, embedded videos, the newsletter signup (Substack) and the merch shop (shop.harrysbaked.com, run on Fourthwall). Their accessibility depends on those providers.

Accessibility on the tours

Both tours, Mahane Yehuda Market in Jerusalem and Levinsky Market in Tel Aviv, are fully wheelchair accessible. The tours are mostly walking, with options to sit along the way.

You can book and ask questions entirely in writing, by email, WhatsApp or the booking form. If you need any information from this site in another format, I’ll provide it free of charge.
